Two-track recording of any call, in any app
Your microphone on one track, the other side on another, so the transcript knows which of you was talking.
30 days of Pro, freeNo account, no email, no card
Meetfacts records both sides of a call — your microphone and the other person's audio, as separate tracks — then transcribes it, works out who said what, and writes a summary. On your Mac.
Recording and transcripts free, forever Any call, in any app Audio is never sent anywhere One payment, not a subscription
two tracks in · one transcript out · nobody took notes
How it works
Any app — a browser tab, a native client, a phone on speaker. Meetfacts captures your microphone and the other side separately, so the transcript knows which of you was talking.
Both sides of any call, in any app: your microphone and everyone else, as separate tracks.
On your Mac, with speakers separated and named. Separate tracks, so “who said that?” is a fact rather than a guess.
A summary written by a model running on your Mac, and the action items, in one list across every meeting.
Free, forever
Your microphone on one track, the other side on another, so the transcript knows which of you was talking.
Separated and named, and you can correct both.
Every recording you have made, one search box.
By Apple's built-in model, or a larger one you download.
From every meeting, ticked off as you go.
Where it stays
Recording, transcription, speaker separation and summaries all run on your machine. There is no account to make, and we have no server that receives your audio or your transcripts.
One exception, and it is yours to switch on: if you point Meetfacts at a summarisation server of your own, it sends that server the transcript text to be summarised. Nothing does that by default.
No sign-up and no account with us. The 30-day Pro trial asks for nothing at all.
No cookies, no analytics script, no third-party fonts, nothing embedded. That is why you did not get a cookie banner.
Meetfacts does not download models. You obtain the speech and optional speaker models yourself, then import them. Run meetfacts models guide for the steps; your download provider sees that request, not your recordings.
From updates.meetfacts.com through Cloudflare; downloads use the address in the feed. You can switch update checks off. Nothing about what you record.
Only if you bought a licence: Meetfacts re‑validates it with Polar every seven days and keeps working for thirty days offline. It sends your licence key, this Mac's name and the app version, never your meetings.
Only if you configured one. Meetfacts sends it the transcript text to be summarised. Audio is never sent anywhere at all.
Updates, licence checks and your configured summary server are app connections. Model downloads are your separate setup step.
Meetfacts Pro
Recording, transcripts, speaker naming, search and summaries you ask for by hand are free, forever, with no limits. Pro is the work Meetfacts does without being asked.
Every recording summarized when its transcript is ready.
Sessions named after what was discussed, not the date.
The meeting's title and the people in it, from your calendar.
Meetfacts notices when a call starts and offers to record it. The press is still yours.
Thirty days of Pro when you first open it. No account, no email, no card.

All four Pro features, on one licence.
€35 one payment · not a subscription
Records your meetings, and types what you say, anywhere.
€45 €9.90 less than both apps bought separately (€35 + €19.90)
When you do buy: your licence key is in your Polar customer portal, reachable from the link in your order confirmation email. Paste it into Meetfacts once to activate this Mac. You need an internet connection for activation and the weekly licence check.
Dictate as well as record? HoldFn is the sister app — hold a key, speak, and it types what you said into whatever app you were already using. holdfn.com · €19.90 on its own, or €45 for both, on one licence.
Not by default, and never to us. Recording, transcription, speaker separation and summarisation run on your Mac, and we have no server that could receive your audio or your transcripts.
There is one way transcript text leaves your Mac, and you have to set it up: Meetfacts can send a transcript to a summarisation server you name — an oMLX server, on this Mac by default, or on another machine on your network if you point it there. Nothing is configured that way out of the box, and audio is never sent anywhere at all.
If you bought a licence, yes, on a schedule: Meetfacts re‑validates it with Polar every seven days, and keeps working for thirty days without a successful check. That request carries your licence key, this Mac's name and the app version. Nothing from your meetings is part of it.
The free build makes no licence call at all. Update checks can be switched off. Meetfacts never fetches models: you download and import them yourself. A configured oMLX server receives transcript text for summaries.
Recording works without models; transcription works offline after you import the speech model. Run meetfacts models guide for download and import instructions. Pending recordings retry when you reopen the app. oMLX is for summaries, not transcription. A licensed copy keeps Pro for thirty days with no successful licence check, and warns you in the menu bar for the last week of that window.
macOS 26 or later, on a Mac with Apple silicon. Apple silicon is not a recommendation: Meetfacts ships as an arm64-only build and will not run on an Intel Mac.
Almost certainly, and in many places you need their agreement before you start. Recording someone's private words without it is a criminal offence in some countries, Germany included. Meetfacts cannot know what law applies to you or who is on the call, so it does not pretend to handle this: the asking is yours to do.
No. One payment, no automatic renewal, nothing to cancel. The licence is perpetual for this major version, on up to ten of your own Macs; if you retire one, remove it in your Polar customer portal and the slot comes back. Twelve months of updates are included; after that the app keeps working exactly as it did, and security fixes still arrive. If you want another year of new features, a renewal costs half of what you last paid.
Yes. Recording, transcripts, speaker naming, search and summaries you ask for by hand are free forever, with no limits. All four Pro features run for thirty days when you first open the app, with no account, no email address and no card.
In your Polar customer portal. Open the portal link in your order confirmation email, copy your licence key and paste it into Meetfacts to activate this Mac. If the email has not arrived or you cannot find the key, check spam and then write to contact@meetfacts.com and we will help you access your licence.
Accurate enough to search and to read back, and not accurate enough to quote from unread. Speech recognition gets names, jargon, accents and crosstalk wrong, and speaker separation gets confused when two people talk over each other. You can correct both. Read it before you forward it.
